📋 Description

• Source and procure specialized goods and services • Own contractual management of suppliers • Manage source selection from contract proposal through execution • Coordinate with contracts, engineering, quality, supplier development, planning, operations, program, and end-user stakeholders • Develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and procurement terms and conditions • Prepare Requests for Proposal, analyze and evaluate proposals, negotiate subcontract provisions, select or recommend subcontractors, write awards, and administer resulting subcontracts • Evaluate and monitor supplier quality, reliability, and ability to meet delivery schedules • Identify cost-reduction, efficiency-improvement, and risk-management opportunities through strategic negotiations • Manage and lead supplier financial forecasting accuracy • Manage subcontract performance and ensure compliance with public-law requirements, company policies, business policies, and import/export regulations • Assess supplier performance and conduct follow-up activities • Ensure documentation is provided to logistics, transportation, and warehouse organizations for proper receipt recording • Manage and develop strategic and key suppliers • Review and approve supplier payments as needed • Use Lean Six Sigma process tools with suppliers to drive quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field and 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree and 3+ years of related experience for Level 3 • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field and 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree and 6+ years of related experience for Level 4 • An additional 4+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree • Experience with subcontracts, procurement, contracts, or another related field • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance • U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite • Current and active DoD security clearance preferred • Experience managing major subcontracts preferred • Experience managing various subcontract types, including Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus Incentive or Fixed Fee, Time & Material, Labor Hour, and IDIQ, preferred
