📋 Description

• Envision, design, and implement new features using the Appian low-code platform based on prioritized product backlogs • Bring innovative, out-of-the-box thinking to solve challenging problems and brainstorm with peers • Provide estimates for upcoming sprint work • Work with functional and testing teams to understand business functionality and ensure developed solutions meet or exceed end-user needs • Unit test developed features, including edge cases, and conduct peer reviews of other developers’ code as needed • Attend and actively participate in Agile meetings, including User Story grooming, Sprint Planning, and retrospectives • Deliver client presentations during Sprint demos and coordinate meetings with intersecting teams • Participate in implementation architectures for digital solutions, frameworks, and accelerators • Participate in company knowledge-sharing sessions, socialize best practices, and draft white papers as applicable • Help build proof of concepts and create technical solutions for internal applications as needed • Work closely with developers and engineers in an Agile environment to modernize customer applications using low-code solutions • Learn from peers and seniors and mentor junior team members

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors or other IT related degree • Certified Appian Associate Developer or Appian Senior Developer • Applicants MUST be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain US Government’s Public Trust security clearance • At least 2 years of experience in the design and implementation of digital, bpm low code solutions using Appian • Strong Appian development and debugging skills • Fairly good understanding of data concepts (SQL, Databases) and business workflows • Experience working on recent Appian versions (24.x and later) • Hands-on experience working with modern/synced Record Types and related features • Strong verbal and writing skills, including the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate at all levels with technical as well as business resources • Experience with Appian SAIL, Process Models, Interfaces, Process Monitoring, and/or Integrations • Experience in handling multiple tasks, changing priorities, and timely action; experience with Agile methodologies and Agile project management • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, along with strong organizational and time management skills • Good communication and interpersonal skills in a remote environment • Experience working with software development team members • Other open sources technology experience preferred
