📋 Description

• Enhance the current land use planning decisions database • Transform the system into a more effective web mapping application • Ensure quick and easy retrieval of data through the existing IT infrastructure • Utilize Power BI to create interactive and dynamic reports and dashboards • Integrate Power BI with ArcGIS for enhanced mapping and spatial analysis • Explore Azure Maps • Create and maintain data and metadata management automation scripts and batch processes using federal metadata tools, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Python, R, SQL scripts, and other data and metadata management software • Develop processes to improve data retrieval speeds by analyzing current data processing and infrastructure, including ArcGIS Server, SDE, and ArcGIS Portal through the ESRI Experience Application • Develop and improve Power BI apps to access data and create reports from Geospatial Analysis in conjunction with ESRI Experience Apps • Work directly with a federal government client in Colorado and engage users to improve applications and reporting

🎯 Requirements

• 5 years of application development experience preferred • Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, or related field • Enterprise GIS and Business Intelligence knowledge • Power BI Administration and Development • ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online • Metadata and Data Governance • Cloud Integration and Azure Services • Database Optimization and Data Architecture • Information Security and Compliance • Technical Documentation and Training • Stakeholder Engagement and Customer Support • Geospatial Analysis and Cartographic Production • Employment contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening • Preferred: experience supporting federal land-use planning, environmental management, or natural resource programs • Preferred: knowledge of federal geospatial policies, standards, and mission-support systems • Preferred: experience with Azure Maps capabilities, including vector tiles, routing, geocoding, spatial operations, and cloud-based mapping services • Preferred: familiarity with AI and emerging technology guidance applicable to federal environmental, planning, and geospatial programs
