📋 Description

• Own a key data domain within Digital Marketing Operations, spanning pipelines, data products, audience services, and consumer teams • Shape architecture and interfaces while addressing scale, reliability, performance, privacy compliance, security, cost, and compatibility • Lead complex cross-functional initiatives across engineering, marketing, and operations • Translate requirements into data architectures and write high-quality production code • Architect, implement, and evolve batch and streaming pipelines for customer behavioral, audience, campaign, consent, and activation data • Build systems using distributed processing frameworks, workflow orchestration tools, cloud data warehouses, object storage, and pub/sub messaging platforms • Build and evolve shared data quality frameworks and engineering standards • Lead production incident investigations and drive root-cause resolution and preventive improvements • Embed privacy and compliance controls, including data governance, consent propagation, GDPR and PIPL compliance, data minimization, access boundaries, right-to-erasure workflows, and auditable data lineage • Establish data models, semantics, ownership boundaries, and serving interfaces across teams • Deliver trusted data assets for marketing consumers • Provide technical leadership through architecture and data model reviews, mentorship, reusable patterns, and technical decision-making

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant industry experience • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field • Proficiency in Python and one or more modern programming languages such as Java or Golang • Strong SQL fundamentals • Experience with Apache Spark or similar distributed data processing frameworks • Experience with cloud-managed ETL services • Experience with Airflow or equivalent workflow orchestration tools • Strong experience with cloud data platform services, object storage, cloud data warehouses, and managed transformation services • Experience with data lake and lakehouse architectures, including Apache Iceberg • Strong SQL and NoSQL skills and data-modeling proficiency • Experience building systems that move customer, behavioral, consent, campaign, or audience data across multiple platforms • Skill diagnosing production failures across distributed systems using logs, metrics, traces, query plans, and profiles • Strong architectural judgment across reliability, performance, cost, privacy, compatibility, and maintainability
