📋 Description

• Provide customer service to internal and external customers by identifying and meeting needs related to products and services • Respond to calls and service requests, answer product and service questions, and follow up on customer inquiries • Resolve product or service problems by verifying complaints, identifying solutions, or referring matters to management • Take orders from internal and external agencies via phone • Enter, process, and track customer orders, complaints, and patient information using computerized systems • Prepare reports and maintain accurate order and file documentation • Release NYBC donor testing results to initiate product labeling • Manage test results for internal and external customers • Review and input information from donor forms • Contact necessary staff and relay information to customers for appropriate follow-up • Perform sample check-in, create customer invoices, and resolve billing inaccuracies • Enter confirmatory test results into BECS • Process and confirm donors for HLA/Granulocyte specialty product requests • Import SAHH donor data into the computer system • Investigate, report, and resolve unlinked SAHH donations and laptop failures; open ServiceNow tickets for SAHH issues • Coordinate Product Hold Retrieval with NYBC affiliates and customers • Box and ship NYBC sample boxes/labels to testing customers • Report ABORH discrepancies • Generate transportation delivery/pickup requests

🎯 Requirements

• Candidate MUST Reside in New York, New York. • High School Diploma or equivalent • One year of experience as a customer service representative in a call center environment is preferred. • Familiarity with computerized systems for entering, processing, and tracking customer orders, complaints, and patient information • All salaries are pursuant to Local 1199 Collective Bargaining Agreement.
