📋 Description

• Collaborate with data leaders to drive sales, recruiting, account management, consulting, and operational excellence • Lead Databricks Center of Excellence projects • Act as a Databricks subject matter expert and support business development • Guide clients through architecture, data engineering, and scalable analytics best practices • Lead and manage project risk, including planning, budgeting, deliverables, and executive-level alignment • Develop proposals, statements of work, and growth strategies for existing accounts • Provide technical and architectural guidance on Databricks, modern data platforms, and cloud-native solutions • Mentor team members and recommend emerging technologies and tools • Develop and oversee large-scale data architecture projects using Databricks features including Delta Lake, Unform (Iceberg), Delta Live Tables, and Unity Catalog • Provide leadership and strategic direction to engineering teams • Advise clients on digital transformation and data strategy • Lead Databricks implementation sales and pre-sales pursuits as Sales Solution Lead/Lead Architect • Lead large Databricks migration and modernization delivery engagements as Delivery Solution Lead

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience in data engineering or architecture • Extensive hands-on experience with Databricks, including Delta Lake, Delta Live Tables, and Unity Catalog • Mastery of Big Data Platforms, Cloud Data Warehouses, and Object-Oriented Programming • Expertise in NoSQL Databases, Container Management Systems, and AI/ML tools • Understanding of Databricks platform and governance capabilities • Deep industry experience designing data and AI platform solution delivery • Experience delivering large-scale migrations and modernization initiatives from legacy Data Warehouses to Databricks Lakehouse platform • Databricks Data Engineering Professional certification completed is ideal • Experience leading multiple complex Databricks project deliveries • Ability to work remotely in the United States
