📋 Description

• Act as a technical expert and trusted advisor during the post-sales process • Embed with customer teams to understand workflows and demonstrate how Ocrolus technology improves mortgage origination efficiency • Review and consult on technical solutions, APIs, microservices, data pipelines, and integrations • Build and support technical solutions and integrations for mortgage clients using Ocrolus, Encompass, and other POS/LOS mortgage platforms • Run proof-of-concepts and proof-of-value engagements demonstrating ROI • Troubleshoot technical issues in live environments • Partner with Account Management and Product teams to deliver value and influence the roadmap • Travel occasionally, approximately 30–50%, to customer sites and industry events • Work with Account Management, implementation, and onboarding teams • Report to the Lead Forward-Deployed Engineer and VP of Account Management

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, or technical consulting • 3+ years of experience/background in mortgage or lending workflows • Strong understanding and experience with Encompass • Strong consultative sales/account management approach • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience engaging senior mortgage executives • Backend experience with Python, APIs, Encompass Developer Connect, and SQL • Frontend experience with React/TypeScript and JavaScript with ICE Secure Scripting Framework (SSF) • Familiarity with mortgage LOS/POS platforms, including Encompass, Blend, SimpleNexus, and Floify • Experience with Git • Cloud basics in AWS/Azure • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments • Nice to have: experience with SaaS integrations or loan origination systems • Nice to have: additional mortgage LOS/POS experience • Nice to have: exposure to AI/ML or generative AI
