Octant Labs is a Golem Foundation project (launched 2023) that provides institutional-grade, on-chain DeFi vaults and allocation tools to enable sustainable, automated funding for blockchain ecosystems and DAOs. Their Octant v2 vaults let ecosystem treasuries and communities direct yield—while keeping principal custody with the user or chosen provider—by integrating with protocols such as Aave, Morpho, Sky, Yearn, Lido, and Rocket Pool. The platform also includes collaborative allocation, voting, and review workflows so councils and community members can transparently allocate yield to projects and grants.

📋 Description

• Define and drive the overall QA strategy, including automation coverage, quality metrics, and release readiness criteria. • Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks (web, mobile, APIs, and smart contracts integration). • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions etc.) to support continuous delivery. • Lead test planning, execution, and reporting for major releases, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing. • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define acceptance criteria and ensure testability of requirements. • Build tools and processes for cross-browser, cross-device, and wallet integration testing. • Establish and enforce QA best practices across teams. • Mentor other QA engineers/analysts, providing guidance on automation, bug triage, and process improvements. • Work closely with DevOps to strengthen release pipelines and quality gates.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in QA/software testing (including 2+ years in the Web3 space), with at least 2+ years in a senior or lead capacity. • Proven track record of building and scaling test automation frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Puppeteer, etc.). • Strong experience with CI/CD integration for automated testing pipelines. • Familiarity with Web3 technologies: smart contracts, wallets (MetaMask, WalletConnect, hardware wallets), blockchain transactions, gas estimations. • Experience testing APIs, microservices, and distributed systems. • Proficiency with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, Linear, TestRail, etc.). • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices. • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience in cross-functional collaboration.
