📋 Description

• Support legal efforts in local, state, federal, and/or international actions • Assist attorneys in legal efforts across the country and around the world • Work with experts • Conduct legal and evidentiary research • Draft legal memoranda • Draft, review, and edit complaints, briefs, motions, discovery requests, and declarations • Prepare for oral argument and trial • Assist with document review • Support strategic litigation, administrative petitions for rulemaking, and climate recovery ordinances • Support youth advocating for science-based carbon emission reductions and climate recovery plans

🎯 Requirements

• Current law student • Resume required • Cover letter required • Short writing sample of no more than 7 pages • Copy of transcript (unofficial accepted) • Three references, including at least one legal reference, with email addresses and phone numbers • Preference for students able to commit to at least 10 hours per week during the Fall • Careful, accurate, and self-directed work
