📋 Description

• Coordinate the resources and systems required to install application software in both production and test environments. • Develop and execute plans for data conversion, application software validation, and system-to-system interface validation. • Create detailed system documentation. • Provide primary support for troubleshooting and resolving clinical application system issues, diagnosing problems, and developing corrective action plans, which may involve changes to procedures, workflows, or data entry instructions. • Collaborate with ITG, customers, and vendors to identify problem causes and implement solutions. • Schedule and manage application fixes and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption. • Monitor key systems and interfaces, such as ADT, order entry, results reporting, and billing, and address any issues promptly. • Provide expert technical knowledge of clinical applications to ITG and clinical staff. • Perform diagnostic analysis on applications, servers, and other technical systems, ensuring optimal performance. • Share on-call rotation with team members to provide 24/7 support for healthcare clinical and administrative applications. • Work with vendors and OHSU resources to resolve system issues, identify root causes, and implement measures to prevent recurrence. • Responsible for implementing Departmental Healthcare Information Systems by developing detailed project plans with dependencies and critical path tasks. • Track and assign tasks to team members, vendors and customers with follow up to assure that tasks are completed on schedule. • Provide project progress reports to management. • Responsible for coordinating and communicating all tasks associated with all aspects of the project from phone lines and power sources, server delivery and configuration to back-up plans and disaster recovery priorities.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field, or a clinical field and six years of work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operations healthcare environments; OR Associate’s degree in computer science, a related field, or a clinical field and seven years of work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational healthcare environments; OR Eight years work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational healthcare environments; OR Equivalent combination of education and experience where one year of experience will be substituted for an Associate’s degree and two years of experience will be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree. • Two or more years of paid work experience as a Systems/Application Analyst or Application Administrator. • Experience and working knowledge in operating system software, relational and/or hierarchical databases, and technical application support for administrative and clinical systems. • Experience in the analysis of technical systems and experience. • Experience in developing specifications for system-to-system interfaces. • Experience performing business analysis and technical impacts. • Experience in managing multiple projects. • Experience in managing complex customer relationships in an enterprise setting. • Experience with device integration and network communication. • Strong Project Management skills, including demonstrated management of successful projects from scheduling, design, testing, and implementation. • Strong system analysis skills. • Ability to maintain operating systems, installed applications, and interfaces which includes upgrades, patches, technical configuration changes, security, following IT related best practices. • Strong ability to troubleshoot technical and clinical workflow related issues.
