📋 Description

• Join one of OLIO's tech teams as a Senior Ruby-on-Rails Developer • Continue growing OLIO's volunteer platform • Improve the user experience for Food Heroes and other users • Support Food Heroes as major contributors of listings • Contribute to the platform during rapid user-base growth • Work with Ruby on Rails, AWS, Docker, Redis, Travis-CI, Sidekiq, ActiveAdmin, Google Maps, Mixpanel, Mailgun, Trevor.io, and Stripe • Participate in quarterly or half-yearly in-person meetups when possible

🎯 Requirements

• Proven track record developing large scale Ruby-On-Rails applications • Familiarisation with using and improving build and automation tools • Experience with unit and integration testing new features • Ability to evaluate new technologies and assess their benefits to products and processes • Ability to keep up to date with newer versions of JavaScript • Product manager mindset, including improving specifications and designs where possible • Ability to work with or learn new technologies, languages, and frameworks • Mission obsessed • Self-starter with a can-do attitude • Resourceful and creative • Thorough, while able to move quickly and decisively • Ruthless ability to prioritise • Excellent communication skills • Eligible to work and reside in the UK
