📋 Description

• Lead technical design and delivery of banking features that scale with the growing customer base and support a seamless mobile experience • Set architectural standards and best practices for code quality, performance, security, and reliability across banking services • Own the technical approach to complex challenges at scale, including sensitive financial data and real-time money movement • Mentor and grow engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and hands-on collaboration on difficult problems • Partner with product, design, risk, and compliance to shape the roadmap and deliver high-quality software • Create and maintain clear documentation for a growing remote organization

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in backend or full-stack software engineering, including technical leadership of projects or teams • Proven success designing, building, and scaling production-grade APIs and distributed systems, ideally in banking, payments, or other regulated financial services • Experience with sensitive financial data and money movement systems, such as ledgers, account management, ACH, or card processing • Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript or similar modern backend frameworks • Familiarity with microservices, Kubernetes, and AWS • Experience with mobile or user-facing applications, ideally React Native, is a plus • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Track record of mentoring engineers and driving technical decisions across teams • Drive and proactivity • Familiarity with modern software engineering practices • Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States
