📋 Description

• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business improvement opportunities • Conduct deep-dive analyses into business performance metrics and investigate root causes of KPI movements and operational anomalies • Develop predictive and prescriptive analytics and recommend proactive actions • Partner with stakeholders to understand analytical needs and translate them into data requirements for data engineering • Create data-driven business cases and ROI analyses • Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports • Create governed self-service analytics solutions • Build executive-level scorecards • Apply advanced visualization techniques for non-technical audiences • Establish enterprise visualization best practices and standards • Serve as analytics consultant for assigned business units • Facilitate discovery sessions and identify underlying business questions • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data engineers • Present findings and recommendations to leadership using storytelling techniques • Build trusted advisor relationships with business leaders • Establish data quality metrics and monitoring processes with data engineers • Identify and resolve data quality issues • Document business rules and data definitions • Contribute to data governance initiatives • Validate data pipeline outputs before production deployment • Explore statistical analysis, forecasting, and basic machine learning applications • Collaborate on proof-of-concepts for new analytical capabilities • Research BI best practices and emerging trends • Mentor business users on data literacy and self-service analytics • Contribute to the analytics strategy and roadmap • Collaborate with junior, data, and senior data engineers on requirements, data models, ETL/ELT validation, and solution architecture

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related field • 2-4 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related analytical roles • Proven ability to translate complex data findings into clear business recommendations • Strong proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools, particularly Power BI • Experience working with data warehouse/lakehouse environments and understanding of data modeling concepts • Demonstrated success in building stakeholder relationships and influencing business decisions through data • Excellent presentation and storytelling skills with ability to communicate with both technical and executive audiences • Critical thinking skills with ability to challenge assumptions and ask probing questions • Advanced Power BI proficiency • Advanced Excel proficiency, including Power Query/Power Pivot • Advanced SQL proficiency • Knowledge of DAX • Experience with Microsoft Fabric and data lakehouses • Knowledge of statistical analysis, data modeling basics, KPI development, and dashboard design principles • Basic Python or R is beneficial • Preferred: Azure Analysis Services, Tableau, Azure DevOps for report deployment, basic machine learning concepts, forecasting techniques, A/B testing, and experience in finance, operations, sales, or supply chain
