📋 Description

• Keep the development team building a federal agency's filer application system on schedule, on scope, and ahead of its risks • Own the schedule by building and maintaining the integrated plan, tracking milestones and dependencies, and identifying slippage early • Run Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives • Manage risks and issues by maintaining the risk register, assigning owners and dates, and escalating unresolved issues • Report status through weekly reports, sprint metrics, and leadership briefings covering progress, risks, and needed decisions • Track release outcomes, including whether releases improve the speed and accuracy of the agency's filer-application processing • Help deliver a secure, automated system carrying filings from submission to decision • Collaborate with developers, testers, product owners, client stakeholders, engineers, data scientists, architects, and strategists • Adapt to evolving assignments and move to address the hardest problems as work changes

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of project management experience on software development projects • Bachelor's degree • Experience running Agile delivery, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives • Experience building and maintaining project schedules, including milestones, dependencies, and the critical path • Risk and issue management, including maintaining a risk register and driving mitigation • Status reporting to client and internal leadership, in writing and in briefings • Experience with Agile tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps • Experience with scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet • Experience working with developers, testers, and product owners to plan releases and manage scope • Technical fluency in software and cloud delivery sufficient to judge estimates, dependencies, and release risk with engineers • Proficiency in writing, PowerPoint, and Excel • United States citizenship required for the initial engagement • Ability to obtain a Public Trust determination • Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification • Preferred: Agile certification such as CSM, PSM, or PMI-ACP • Preferred: Managing delivery of cloud applications on AWS • Preferred: Managing delivery of document-processing or case-management systems • Preferred: Federal information technology experience, including contract deliverables and reporting • Preferred: Familiarity with AI-assisted project management tooling
