📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted partner to Optiv’s clients • Design security solutions for assigned clients using sales skills and security practitioner knowledge • Advise and design defensible, scalable Secure Networking security programs across Cloud, Network, SASE, and OT • Participate in the Field Center of Excellence and position Optiv services and technology partners • Collaborate with service delivery to provide consistent domain specialty materials • Develop security strategies and roadmaps aligned with business goals, budgets, and ROI metrics • Maintain advisory relationships with client stakeholders and facilitate thought leadership • Maintain relationships with relevant Optiv technology partners • Design complete security programs, gather requirements, select technologies, coordinate demonstrations, and conduct security technology evaluations • Partner with internal Optiv teams to align client expectations with the solution portfolio and ensure service delivery excellence • Share client feedback with internal teams to support continuous improvement • Participate in account planning, forecasting, and pipeline management • Manage and prioritize proposals, business proposals, contracts, and RFI/RFP responses • Pursue ongoing technical, soft-skill, and security-specific development

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA or equivalent applicable work experience • Minimum of five (5) years in an information security role • Preferably experience as a consulting advisor, architect, or engineer planning, building, and running secure Network, OT, and Cloud environments • Experience with Network, OT, and Cloud Security technology partners and technologies including firewalls, segmentation, ZTNA, visibility, SASE, CNAPP, WAF, DDoS protection, load balancing, and posture management • Highly motivated self-starter who does not require day-to-day management • Ability to work in a highly adaptable and nimble team environment with responsive communication • Thorough understanding of the current threat landscape, vulnerabilities, and defensive controls • Strong business and technical acumen • Ability to lead technology-focused discussions • Strong presentation, written, and oral communication skills, including whiteboard sessions • Proficient sales techniques, including facilitating meetings, asking probing questions, overcoming objections, gaining trust, positioning solutions, and finalizing sales • Strong attention to detail when reviewing SOWs, quotes, and client deliverables • Broad security-related knowledge and commitment to expanding expertise across domains • Vendor-specific certification(s) focused primarily on specialty • Ability to perform additional duties as directed or needed
