📋 Description

• Own meaningful parts of the Osano platform end to end, from shaping problems with Product to running results in production • Lead multi-sprint projects from design through rollout; define plans, break down work, and deliver close to estimates • Design robust systems and write design docs and decision records weighing alternatives • Partner with Product on MVP scope, phasing, tradeoffs, and customer impact measurement • Use AI coding agents and assistants for codebase exploration, scaffolding, testing, debugging, refactoring, migrations, and code review • Build scripts, agent workflows, and checks that automate repetitive engineering work • Help define team practices for AI tools and verification of AI-assisted work • Keep customer and personal data out of AI tools except through approved privacy-safe paths • Build observability, feature flags, and rollback paths into work • Participate in triage and on-call rotations; lead incident response and complete postmortem follow-ups • Identify and advocate for technical debt • Apply data minimization, residency, retention, and access controls • Write secure code and fix vulnerabilities • Conduct impactful code and design reviews • Mentor engineers earlier in their careers • Interview candidates and help hire engineers • Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and Security

🎯 Requirements

• Must be based in and authorized to work in the United States • Typically 5+ years building and shipping production software; what you have owned matters more than the number of years • Track record of leading multi-sprint projects from design to production in a team setting • Strong JavaScript/Node.js and React experience • Solid relational database skills; PostgreSQL preferred • Strong system design fundamentals, including data modeling and API design • Experience owning production systems, including on-call, incident response, and observability • Hands-on, day-to-day use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot • Ability to provide concrete examples of AI tools improving individual or team effectiveness and explain how output is verified • Experience mentoring other engineers • Strong written communication in a remote, async environment • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to create clarity through good design and clear writing • AWS experience, privacy/security/compliance-sensitive B2B SaaS, AI-powered automations, data/analytics tooling, CI/CD, preview/ephemeral environments, and Cypress are nice-to-haves
