📋 Description

• Maintain secure, reliable, mission-focused Windows, SQL Server, and Citrix infrastructure supporting U.S. Army Human Resources Command • Install, protect, recover, patch, back up, modernize, archive, and decommission physical and virtual servers • Build and provision physical and virtual servers using standalone, clustered, high-availability, and fault-tolerant designs • Configure server parameters, network services, IP addresses, hardware, and software; troubleshoot and verify services • Build and sustain directory services, identity management systems, organizational units, and global policies • Execute performance testing and optimization; monitor and report system utilization and service capacities • Plan, execute, and document mission-application baseline and architecture changes • Support code deployments of mission applications • Migrate server-hosted applications to public and private cloud environments; verify services and validate data-system interfaces • Build, sustain, image, and script logical containers and automation components • Verify data owners, authorized submitters, logon IDs, privileges, and system security configurations • Install, secure, and troubleshoot website-hosting servers, web-application servers, and websites • Deploy applications, website content updates, and security updates; configure authentication and authorization • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED • Hands-on experience administering Windows Server systems in an enterprise or DoD environment • Practical experience managing and supporting Microsoft SQL Server, including configuration, backup/restore, maintenance plans, and performance optimization • Experience administering Citrix environments, including Citrix Virtual Apps/Desktop, StoreFront, Director, and Delivery Controllers • Experience administering and supporting virtualized environments using VMware and/or Hyper-V • Security+ certification or higher • Active Secret Security Clearance • Knowledge of DoD IT systems, STIGs, RMF, and cybersecurity compliance requirements • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across server, application, and network environments • Ability to diagnose complex technical issues and implement solutions in mission-critical environments • Ability to produce clear documentation and follow DoD change management procedures • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Proficiency with industry-standard computer software and databases • Ability to handle confidential information with a high degree of sensitivity • Physical ability to perform extended repetitive keyboarding; occasional kneeling, bending, and twisting; regular reaching below shoulder height and occasional reaching at or above shoulder height • Preferred: U.S. Army enterprise network (AEI), NETCOM, or HRC systems experience • Preferred: PowerShell scripting for automation and system maintenance • Preferred: DoD monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Splunk, SCOM, Nessus/ACAS • Preferred certifications: Microsoft MCSA/MCSE, Citrix CCA-V/CCP-V, and SQL Server certifications • Must satisfy E-Verify work authorization requirements
