📋 Description

• Support operations of summer conferences, intern housing, and long-term guest accommodations • Assist with oversight of summer conference and intern housing • Develop comprehensive manuals and documentation for subordinate student manager positions • Assist in managing the full guest experience lifecycle, from initial inquiry to final billing and invoicing • Help lead planning and execution of Summer Conference and Intern Housing experiences • Collaborate with Student Life Facilities and Student Life Dining Services • Support planning, logistics, and financial processes for summer guests • Create and update comprehensive training materials for subordinate managers and Student Assistants • Report directly to full-time professional staff within the Student Life Events and Conferences office

🎯 Requirements

• Must be a non-OSU student • Minimum 1.5 years of leadership experience • Completion of at least one full season with Events and Conferences • Ability to work independently under pressure • Familiarity with OSU employee conduct procedures • Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills • Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively • High attention to detail and proactive work ethic • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and customer service platforms • Availability to work 30–38 hours/week during summer and 3–15 hours/week during the academic year • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and weekdays as needed • Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check; a drug screen or physical may be required during the post-offer process
