📋 Description

• Provide strategic oversight to direct, manage, and improve revenue cycle operations • Drive operational excellence and accountability through daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual KPI analysis • Leverage data for management decision-making, performance monitoring, and future planning • Serve as the internal revenue cycle liaison for hospital leadership • Assess facility financial performance, including denials trending and analysis • Develop action plans for metrics not meeting established goals • Facilitate regularly scheduled onsite meetings with regional leaders to report financial performance, opportunities, training, and improvement plans • Collaborate with Revenue Cycle teams to implement best practices • Oversee billing, claims, and follow-up activities for facilities • Analyze facility efficiencies and provide operational improvement feedback • Maintain relationships with Revenue Cycle leaders and supporting organizations, including coding, IS, and managed care • Identify training needs and coordinate deployment with the training team • Manage revenue cycle functions and support continuous improvement in quality, cost effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and resource utilization • Develop infrastructure for timely and accurate claims submission and patient statements • Evaluate needs for partnerships involving outsourcing, collections, underpayments, vendors, and eligibility • Own revenue cycle reporting and monitor all revenue cycle processes • Partner with leadership, finance, and vendors • Develop work plans, business initiatives, and roadmaps • Lead project teams and manage priorities, deliverables, and roadblocks • Coach, develop, and manage team members and front-line staff • Support practice management system implementations, business office consolidations, and technology implementations • Establish and recommend policy or operating model changes • Coordinate department activities and interact with customers, functional leaders, and senior management • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • 10+ years’ experience in technology implementation, product or program management, including 5+ years managerial experience • 5+ years of revenue cycle management experience • 5+ years of leading teams, specifically coaching and developing teams • 5+ years of board or senior leadership level meeting experience • Knowledge of internal revenue cycle metrics, processes, and terminology across inpatient, hospital, and clinic environments • Knowledge of operations, revenue cycle services, CMS regulations, and medical terminology • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to establish relationships with executives and front-line staff • Thorough knowledge of project management • Understanding of billing systems platforms; Centricity strongly preferred • Understanding of oncology billing • Analytical skills to identify opportunities to improve revenue cycle performance, process, and workflow • Willingness to travel 30–45%
