📋 Description

• Inform customer decision-making and improve population health through real-world data analytics, pharmacoeconomic analyses, outcomes evaluations, and medical presentations • Educate customers on the clinical and economic impact of Pfizer medicines and products • Plan and execute independent Medical strategy and engagement for assigned customers within a territory • Develop and execute medical account plans and represent Medical Affairs • Provide objective, scientifically sound medical information using pharmacoeconomic models, outcomes tools, educational programs, HOPEs, non-interventional studies, and collaborations • Develop and implement Real-World Evidence-based outcomes tools to improve patient care and address population health management • Understand and communicate study design, methodology, data analysis, and interpretation • Engage healthcare stakeholders, quality improvement organizations, advocacy groups, coalitions, and medical associations • Support and assess Health Information Technology initiatives and methodologies • Analyze clinical healthcare information system workflows to reduce care gaps and improve care efficiency and quality • Develop clinical content, innovative HIT tools, and resources • Provide e-data collection and clinical informatics expertise • Collaborate cross-functionally to deploy HIT solutions aligned with Pfizer Medical goals • Support HIT and clinical informatics resources for product and indication launches • Create internal and external tools, resources, and educational materials • Represent Pfizer Medical Affairs with professional associations and societies • Respond to unsolicited customer questions about clinical information and pharmacoeconomic impact • Collaborate with Pfizer colleagues to understand customer outcomes and data analysis needs • Maintain market, customer, therapeutic area, and product knowledge • Manage multiple field-based projects and prioritize implementation • Educate healthcare organizations on patient care gaps and guideline-based care • Achieve leadership-defined medical stakeholder engagement expectations • Serve on Medical, therapeutic area, or cross-functional committees • Mentor and support onboarding partners • Maintain professional licensure and ongoing professional development

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health science required • MD or DO with 4+ years relevant experience required • Experience in clinical, formulary, and/or other management; Managed Care, pharmaceutical industry, and/or Quality Improvement; or Data Analytics and/or HEOR activities with strong methodological skills • Significant experience interacting with payers and other organized customers • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage conflict constructively • Strong analytic skills, including proactively identifying and addressing challenges • Strong comprehension and communication skills for scientific information • Ability to prioritize multiple demands and employ situational leadership skills • Valid US driver’s license and compliant driving record • Flexibility to travel 40–50% of the time • Reasonable proximity to an airline hub city and within a 2-hour drive of a major airport • Ability to work occasional weekends • Ability to regularly fly and travel overnight • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. by any employer • Permanent work authorization in the United States required; U.S. work visa sponsorship is unavailable
