📋 Description

• Assist the Site Manager with layout of structural, civil, process, and architectural building items • Assist with procurement of construction materials and execution of purchase orders • Monitor material deliveries, subcontractor performance, and receiving reports • Perform on-site material placement surveys and report quantities weekly • Assist with scheduling construction activities • Develop bid lists, issue procurement documents, review bids, and evaluate proposals after two to six months • Establish and maintain safety and QA/QC standards • Lead safety meetings and serve as on-site safety when needed • Review and log shop drawings and submittals • Maintain red-line as-built drawings and update construction documents • Manage the jobsite in the Site Manager’s absence • Perform and document QA/QC audits and follow up on deficiencies • Assist with daily and monthly project reports • Make immediate safety and quality decisions and escalate out-of-specification issues • Enforce Gray’s safety program and investigate safety incidents • Coordinate with city officials, OSHA, and inspectors • Ensure inspections are scheduled, conducted, and documented • Manage assigned scopes of work and subcontractors • Maintain daily progress drawings using Bluebeam, Excel, or Assemble • Generate meeting agendas and minutes and distribute them accurately and promptly • Communicate customer-requested changes to the Site Manager and Project Manager • Ensure subcontractors perform according to contract guidelines

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school and a minimum of 2 years of related construction experience, or 4+ years of relevant construction experience in lieu of a degree • Basic computer skills • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, tablets, and smartphones • Strong work ethic • Energetic, self-motivated approach • Ability to work in a team environment • Passion for collaboration and professional development • Willingness and ability to travel to project sites throughout the United States and, in some cases, outside the U.S. • Must be eligible to work without visa sponsorship • Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands and arms, reach, talk, and hear • Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch • Ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 lbs and occasionally lift or move up to 100 lbs • Accurate near and distant vision • Ability to work in wet, humid, outdoor, noisy, and potentially hazardous environments • Overtime may be required
