📋 Description

• Assist the Site Manager with layout of structural, civil, process, and architectural building items • Assist with procurement of construction materials and execution of purchase orders • Monitor material deliveries, subcontractor performance, and receiving reports • Perform on-site material placement surveys and report quantities weekly • Assist with scheduling construction activities and consolidating activity reports • Develop bid lists, issue procurement documents, review bids, and evaluate proposals after two to six months • Establish and maintain safety and QA/QC standards and conduct safety meetings • Review, log, and update shop drawings, submittals, red-line as-built drawings, and construction documents • Manage the jobsite in the Site Manager’s absence • Perform and record QA/QC audits and follow up on out-of-specification work • Assist with daily reports and monthly man-hour reports • Enforce Gray’s safety program and serve as on-site safety when needed • Investigate safety incidents and prepare accurate reports • Coordinate with city officials, OSHA, inspectors, and project teams to schedule and document inspections • Manage assigned scopes of work and subcontractors • Maintain daily progress drawings using Bluebeam, Excel, or Assemble • Generate meeting agendas and minutes and distribute them accurately and promptly • Escalate customer-requested changes for appropriate contract action

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school and a minimum of 2 years of related construction experience, or 4+ years of relevant construction experience in lieu of a degree • Basic computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, tablets, and smartphones • Strong work ethic and energetic, self-motivated approach • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment • Willingness to travel to project sites throughout the United States and occasionally outside the U.S. • Ability to live anywhere in the USA • Must be eligible to work without visa sponsorship; this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship • Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands and arms, reach, talk, and hear • Ability to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch • Ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 lbs and occasionally lift or move up to 100 lbs • Accurate near and distant vision • Ability to work in wet, humid, outdoor, noisy, and potentially hazardous conditions • Overtime and travel may be required
