📋 Description

• Serve as senior line pilot responsible for aircrew leadership, standardization, training, and mission execution • Maintain PIC Cessna 337G/H Skymaster qualifications • Provide mentorship, flight instruction, pilot proficiency evaluations, and support for daily flight operations • Ensure aircrew qualification and mission readiness under FAA regulations, company procedures, DCMA 8210.D requirements, and government directives • Liaise with US Government Flight Operations Personnel and GFR Flight Operations as required • Act as Contractor's Requesting Official (CRO) • Perform qualified Cessna 337 Pilot-in-Command duties • Provide day-to-day operational oversight to assigned pilots and support Flight Operations leadership • Develop, conduct, and document initial, transition, recurrent, continuation, instrument, emergency-procedure, and mission-oriented training • Recommend pilots for qualification or additional training based on proficiency • Standardize pilot techniques, procedures, checklist discipline, mission planning, crew coordination, risk management, and aircraft operations • Maintain pilot training folders, qualification records, currency tracking, flight evaluations, and required records • Support training syllabus, lesson plan, standardization guide, operating procedure, checklist, and flight operations form development • Coordinate pilot schedules, training, currency events, and operational coverage • Identify and elevate qualification, proficiency, staffing, and operational risks • Interface with Government representatives and support GFR qualification/evaluation requirements • Participate in safety reviews, operational risk management, mishap prevention, lessons learned, and corrective-action activities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with eight (8)+ years of related experience; additional years' experience may be used in lieu of a degree • Two (2) or more years of experience supervising or leading teams and projects • 2,000 hours total flight time • 1,000 hours documented PIC time • 300 hours PIC in a Cessna 337 or similar aircraft type • Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate • Current FAA Flight Instructor Certificate with Airplane (CFI) and Instrument Airplane (CFII) ratings • Current FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate or Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with Airplane Multiengine Land and Instrument Airplane ratings appropriate to the operation • US Citizen • Minimum age of 21 • Must read, write, speak and understand English • Valid passport and state driver’s license • Active DoD Secret clearance, or higher • Ability to successfully meet all contractual/program training requirements • Ability to pass background check and pre-employment and active-employment drug screenings • Strong leadership and mentoring skills • Excellent communication and decision-making abilities • Ability to operate effectively in dynamic ISR mission environments • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic flight management systems • Preferred: active DoD Top Secret clearance, FAA MEI rating, 2,000+ hours PIC in a similar multi-engine turboprop aircraft, 200 hours actual instrument time, relevant Skymaster-family PIC/instructional experience, and prior military/DEA/contracting ISR pilot experience
