📋 Description

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing facility in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations • Oversee quality care and analyze the entire operation of the nursing facility • Manage overall operational functioning of the facility • Monitor daily census • Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct facility programs and activities • Compile and develop budget projection, revenue, and expense reporting; ensure budget conformance • Develop and maintain written policies, procedures, and professional standards of practice • Develop policies and procedures and hold direct reports accountable • Model and uphold the organization’s Mission, Vision, and Values • Participate in community groups and develop and maintain relationships with local hospital leadership • Monitor industry regulations, laws, and compliance updates and implement appropriate changes • Understand staffing-level requirements and adhere to industry and company standards • Monitor and direct execution of policy and procedural changes • Resolve HR issues and risk-management situations • Oversee capital improvements • Participate in advisory committees • Ensure personnel, residents, and visitors follow safety regulations, including fire protection/prevention, smoking regulations, and infection control • Develop and maintain a strong reputation within the industry and community • Collaborate with HR, Therapy, Clinical, and Finance support teams to meet or exceed goals • Negotiate vendor contracts • Support clinical efforts through QA measures and accountability • Monitor collections and accounts receivable daily • Develop and execute ideas to increase employee engagement and minimize turnover • Review quality measures regularly • Support survey team members by providing information during facility inspections • Conduct daily meetings during inspections to discuss survey findings and formulate plans of action/correction • Review deficiencies noted during exit conferences and provide information to aid removal or reduction of deficiencies • Assist in developing plans of correction with timetables and monitoring methods to prevent recurrence • Manage and oversee multiple levels of employees, including hiring, training, budgeting, performance appraisal, rewards, discipline, complaints, problem resolution, and terminations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university, or equivalent • Master’s Degree or MBA preferred • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals • Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers and employees • Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations • Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization • Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products • Must maintain licensing credentials for an Administrator • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds • Prolonged use of desktop or laptop computer • Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, read, and hear • Ability to use office equipment including copier/scanner/fax, telephone, and calculator
