• Design, test, and refine AI-supported solutions for special education workflows, including IEPs, evaluations, FBAs, BIPs, and specially designed instruction • Learn how educators complete complex workflows, identify pain points, and translate needs into practical AI solutions • Work with district and state requirements, templates, protocols, and exemplars • Develop and iterate generative AI prompts, instructions, tool logic, and outputs • Test AI-generated outputs for accuracy, completeness, usefulness, and alignment with high-quality special education practice • Identify errors, omissions, inappropriate recommendations, and other risks, then refine solutions • Apply human judgment to determine where AI can support educators and where professional expertise must remain central • Collaborate with Panorama team members to translate special education expertise into scalable tools, resources, and guidance • Provide feedback and recommendations to improve Panorama’s AI-powered solutions • Support defined projects and deliverables related to special education expertise and AI solution design, testing, and refinement
• Significant professional experience in K–12 special education as a practitioner, leader, psychologist, diagnostician, consultant, or related role • Strong knowledge of federal special education requirements and processes • Understanding of how state and local requirements shape special education practice • Commitment to staying current as laws, regulations, guidance, and requirements evolve • Deep familiarity with IEPs, special education evaluations, FBAs, BIPs, and related documentation • Ability to recognize high-quality special education documentation and practice, including inaccuracies, incompleteness, inappropriateness, or potential noncompliance • Experience synthesizing assessment results, observations, progress-monitoring data, educator input, family input, and prior documentation • Comfort using generative AI tools • Strong written communication, critical thinking, attention to detail, and professional judgment • Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and iterate toward high-quality solutions • Experience across multiple districts or states, AI prompt/tool/workflow design, documentation quality or compliance review, district-level implementation or professional learning, and translating requirements into educator guidance are particularly valuable
• $90/hour compensation • Project-based rates • Contract terms typically begin at six months, with the intention to extend based on performance, availability, and ongoing demand • Flexible project work ranging from 5–20 hours a week depending on client needs and internal capacity
