📋 Description

• Own performance management, coaching, and career growth for a diverse team of engineers. • Act as an active member of your team, performing development or technical tasks, reviewing code, and contributing directly to the ecosystem. • Strong familiarity with or passion for agentic coding practices. • Build and lead your team to execute each sprint effectively, streamlining processes to ensure the right prioritization, urgency, and delivery. • Partner closely with the SVP of Engineering, Product Management, and peer engineering leaders to align your team’s milestones with company goals. • Establish and track KPIs for your team to measure performance, code quality, and execution. • Ensure security processes, protocols, and technical best practices are kept up to date and on track within your team's domain.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. • 3+ years of experience in direct people and team management, with a proven track record of mentoring junior developers and managing stakeholders. • 5+ years of hands-on experience in either backend software development (Ruby on Rails preferred) or cloud systems/infrastructure engineering. • Extensive experience in at least one of the following areas: Developing, deploying, and integrating large-scale, high-traffic web applications. • Deep familiarity with design patterns, code reviews, unit testing, and agile or lean software development frameworks. • Proficiency with version control using Git.
