📋 Description

• Build features supporting customer compliance with emerging regulatory mandates • Optimize patient compliance and successful patient-reported data collection • Build benchmarking features enabling customers to identify strengths and weaknesses in patient care • Enable patient data collection through configurable patient care pathways, HL7, and FHIR • Contribute to multi-tier data architecture cross-referencing patient outcomes with comorbidities, medical devices, and related health factors • Manage and mentor a team of 4–6 engineers and facilitate professional development • Make active coding contributions and provide technical support as a player-coach • Own agile rituals including planning, ticketing, backlog grooming, and retrospectives • Plan, lead, and support production features and projects with Product Managers and designers • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support enterprise customers' production software usage • Champion software performance, scalability, reliability, and observability • Balance new development with technical debt and architectural improvements • Lead adoption and use of AI tooling throughout software development practices • Work in 2-week sprints, 6-month company planning cycles, and weekly deployments

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software experience • 3+ years of Ruby on Rails experience • 1+ years of experience managing engineers • Comfortable using AI throughout the software development lifecycle • Experience within the healthcare software industry • Comfortable working in a startup environment where you must create clarity out of ambiguity • Nice to have: Experience with React, TypeScript, and GraphQL • Nice to have: Experience integrating with EHRs, HL7, FHIR, and/or SmartOnFHIR • Nice to have: Experience with medical coding standards including CPT, ICD-10, and SNOMED • Nice to have: Experience working on large-scale data-driven products or features, leveraging aggregation, data cleaning, data transformation, and data attribution
