📋 Description

• Review client reports and results for medical concerns and incorporate needs into service plans and treatment • Meet reasonable administrative responsibilities • Maintain appropriate clinical records for professional services • Maintain and enhance professional prescriber skills • Provide coordinated and integrated medical services with other client care services • Coordinate communication between the facility and other providers regarding prescribed medications, side effects, and monitoring • Provide medication instructions covering dosage, administration, contraindications, adverse reactions, and health education • Counsel clients about medications and potential interactions with alcohol or non-prescribed drugs • Provide written medication information fact sheets for each prescribed medication • Provide medication counseling when medications change, dosages significantly change, or alcohol/chemical abuse is suspected or documented

🎯 Requirements

• Active and unrestricted APRN licensure in the state of New Jersey • PMHNP certification • Valid and unrestricted CDS and DEA registrations in New Jersey • Experience providing care to clients with a range of mental health disorders across the lifespan • New graduates are encouraged to apply
