📋 Description

• Create architectural standards and technical frameworks guiding multiple engineering teams • Establish observability practices including lineage tracking, monitoring, data quality controls, and service reliability standards • Lead technical reviews and shape architectural decisions through documentation, design reviews, and strategic guidance • Identify opportunities for automation, platform improvement, and engineering efficiency • Coach and mentor engineers on modern data engineering, system design, and AI-assisted development • Collaborate with product, analytics, and data science stakeholders to translate business challenges into scalable data solutions • Define and monitor engineering quality metrics to improve reliability, deployment confidence, and operational excellence • Drive adoption of modern AI engineering practices while maintaining quality and governance • Champion platform improvements that eliminate recurring data challenges • Influence engineering strategy across teams through technical leadership and domain expertise • Enable reliable, secure, adaptable data platforms that support faster insights and business outcomes

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive expertise in SQL, Python, and modern data engineering practices • Demonstrated ownership of complex data platforms and mission-critical engineering initiatives • Strong systems thinking and root-cause problem solving • Ability to define technical direction and influence engineering decisions across multiple teams • Significant experience designing distributed data processing solutions, data pipelines, and large-scale analytical platforms • Deep understanding of data orchestration, streaming technologies, and cloud-native data architectures • Expertise with modern analytical databases and large-scale data infrastructure • Strong judgment when leveraging AI tools while maintaining quality and governance standards • Experience mentoring engineers and developing technical capability across teams • Experience creating engineering standards, architectural patterns, and best practices adopted at scale • Knowledge of data governance, cataloging, access controls, and organizational data management • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to varied stakeholders • Growth mindset and passion for continuous learning • Valid right to work in United States • Successful completion of pre-employment ID verification, reference requests, qualification checks, and applicable additional checks
