📋 Description

• Establish professional, high-quality service and member relations for individuals seeking mortgage loans • Develop business from external and internal sources • Provide exceptional service and support throughout the mortgage application process • Introduce and evaluate member loan needs based on their financial needs • Originate conventional, custom construction, government and occasional home equity mortgage loans through completion • Monitor loans in process and work with members to obtain and complete required documents • Monitor applications in processing and maintain accountability through loan completion • Provide required disclosures and complete applications while addressing compliance matters before processing • Meet with branches, realtors, builders and other referral sources to build relationships and establish referral channels in accordance with RESPA Section 8 • Respond to branch referrals via CRM within one business day and involve the Director of Mortgage Sales when needed • Participate in community engagement programs and regional realtor and builder associations to acquire new loan production • Follow lending and compliance training and guidelines • Report and monitor application status and funding expectations with the Director of Mortgage Sales • Prepare and execute 90-day action plans to meet member needs and production goals • Maintain customer service, confidentiality and discretion • Maintain working knowledge of assigned duties and obtain additional training or development as needed • Ensure compliance with security, audit, regulatory, information security, privacy, Bank Secrecy Act and Customer Identification Program policies • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High School • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in mortgage related originations • Knowledge of or ability to learn federal, state and local laws, statutes, regulations, codes and standards related to the area of responsibility, including SAFE Act, TRID, and HUD guidelines • Knowledge of member service principles and processes • Knowledge of FHA Connection and ordering mortgage insurance certificates for conventional, FHA, and VA mortgages • Ability to explain policies, procedures, laws and regulations to members and fellow employees • Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule-based instructions and technical procedures • Ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, policies and procedures • Ability to keep current with industry and regulatory changes and trends • Candidates residing in Oregon or Washington • Travel is required for this position
