📋 Description

• Maintain generators, diagnose and repair problems, install and replace components or entire systems, and perform maintenance or upgrades • Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance to ensure generator readiness • Read and follow blueprints or design specifications for installation and repair • Install fuel and water supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring and controls, and other components; test proper operation • Respond promptly to power/generator alarms and assigned phone and email communications • Participate in 24/7 on-call duty when necessary • Perform work safely around installation and maintenance hazards, use safety equipment and practices, and attend safety and training meetings • Service and repair commercial generators on cell phone towers in the assigned region • Travel long distances and work day, evening, or night hours, including overtime, emergency callouts, weekends, and holidays as required

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of one year of intense work-related experience with generator and electrical maintenance-related software, hardware, and processes • Two or more years of generator maintenance experience preferred • Thorough knowledge of generator installation, maintenance, and repair • Knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components • Moderate computer skills • Basic knowledge of pertinent FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations • Ability to comply with OSHA Standards • Ability to lift over 50 pounds, stoop, bend, kneel, squat, climb, and stand for long periods • Ability to inspect and troubleshoot equipment/alarms visually and audibly • Willingness and ability to drive long distances and work varied hours, overtime, emergency callouts, weekends, and holidays • Ability to assume 24-hour on-call duty and be away from home for extended periods • Must be able to pass a DOT physical
