📋 Description

• Direct the financial close and day-to-day accounting operations • Administer the ERP system • Oversee financial audits • Lead and mentor the accounting team • Ensure FAR/CAS/DCAA-compliant financial operations and internal controls • Manage indirect cost rate structures and incurred cost submissions • Lead close processes and GAAP-compliant financial reporting, including the general ledger, AP/AR, cost accounting, and government-required submissions • Manage cost allocation, indirect rates (Fringe, Overhead, G&A), contract pricing, and the annual incurred cost submission in partnership with contracting officers and auditors • Coordinate with program and business development teams • Oversee ERP security and audit support • Support payroll reconciliation, the annual financial audit, budgeting/reforecasts, and multi-state tax compliance • Drive accurate, timely financial reporting across the organization

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • CPA Certification • 9+ years of accounting experience, including 5+ years in government contracting • Deep knowledge of FAR, CAS, and DCAA audit requirements • Experience with indirect cost rate development and incurred cost submissions • Strong proficiency in Deltek Costpoint • Expertise in GAAP accounting principles • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or MBA (preferred) • Experience with ERP systems and financial automation tools (preferred) • Prior work with healthcare or technology-focused government contractors (preferred)
