📋 Description

• Support full E-IDS System Integration across data, layouts, network components, and facility workflows • Gather operational requirements directly from FAA facilities • Build LDAs by mapping NDC fields to site-specific operational needs • Validate data accuracy, layout behavior, system interfaces, and interoperability • Deploy configurations and support iterative refinement across test and operational environments • Document field mappings, layout decisions, template structures, system behaviors, and configuration changes • Support system integration including hardware setup, logistics coordination, software configuration, and cutover activities • Interpret Interface Control Documents, engineering drawings, and technical baselines • Troubleshoot connectivity issues using standard Cisco diagnostic commands • Integrate communications equipment with enterprise networks • Support deployment and commissioning activities • Troubleshoot common Linux operational issues • Verify implementation packages before deployment • Work across multidisciplinary engineering teams • Communicate technical issues to engineering and management audiences • Analyze and resolve technical problems in a structured manner

🎯 Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship Required • Must have the ability to obtain / maintain a Public Trust clearance • Bachelor’s degree and 12 years’ related experience, or Master’s degree and 10 years’ experience, or Associate’s degree and 14 years’ experience, or HS diploma/equivalent and 16 years’ experience • Demonstrated experience with hardware and software deployment/installation in enterprise environments • Hands-on experience configuring, managing, and validating Cisco, Dell, and/or HPE/Aruba infrastructure technologies • Experience analyzing end-to-end system functionality, validating architecture, tracing data flows, and troubleshooting interface issues across integrated systems • Hands-on experience supporting Linux-based systems and environments • Ability to travel 50–90% of the time to CONUS and potentially OCONUS locations • Familiarity with FAA National Airspace System (NAS), E-IDS, or other mission-critical operational systems • Understanding of Air Traffic Control (ATC) operational workflows and time-critical information requirements • Knowledge of Local Data Administration (LDA), National Data Configuration (NDC), and operational display configuration • Systems integration experience supporting complex, multi-vendor network, communications, infrastructure, and software environments • Experience using Cisco Web GUI, Dell OpenManage, and HPE/Aruba Web Interface • Experience with interface configuration tools, layout editors, template management, and page builders • Knowledge of relational databases, schemas, data normalization, and data relationships • Experience troubleshooting operational data synchronization and interface inconsistencies • Understanding of human factors engineering and usability principles for operational displays • Experience supporting multi-site deployments, site readiness assessments, and commissioning activities • Familiarity with systems engineering lifecycle processes, configuration management, and change control
