📋 Description

• Design and develop SCADA systems using Client GeoSCADA, AVEVA System Platform, AVEVA Historian, AVEVA PI, Ignition SCADA, and related software • Configure and program SCADA software to monitor and control industrial processes in manufacturing, energy, mining, and utilities • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and develop aligned solutions • Lead a project team of Digital Solutions engineering members • Break high-level deliverables into work tasks and ensure quality standards • Mentor and coach engineering team members • Install, configure, and troubleshoot SCADA software and related PLC components • Integrate SCADA systems with historians for data acquisition, analysis, and reporting • Develop custom scripts using .NET, JavaScript, Python, VBScript, and other scripting languages • Conduct system testing and commissioning and resolve issues or discrepancies • Perform system upgrades and modifications with minimal operational disruption • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users • Participate in training on advancements and trends in SCADA technologies

🎯 Requirements

• Senior-level experience as a SCADA Architect • Proven experience with Client Geo SCADA, AVEVA System Platform, AVEVA PI, and Ignition SCADA • Expertise with SCADA architectures, data modeling, and integration with PLC/RTU/SCADA systems • Experience identifying and implementing automation to improve user experience (UX) • Experience with OPC DA/UA, Modbus, DNP3, JSON, REST, and XML • Ability to create SQL databases for data streams and custom SQL queries/logic • Ability to create or modify PLC programs using Structured Text, Function Block Diagrams, and Ladder Logic • Experience managing multiple project priorities and deliverables • Experience collaborating with project management and engineering project teams • Experience creating and modifying SCADA/HMI screens, alarms, and reports • Willingness to travel to customer sites as required, approximately 25% depending on customer and project needs • Ability to support working on EST or CST time zones from wherever they live
