📋 Description

• Establish and execute merchandising plans and priorities • Ensure fresh merchandise flow from backroom to sales floor • Execute and maintain merchandising standards • Merchandise PEI departments using current merchandising and visual directives • Partner with Visual Managers and retailers • Ensure PEI areas have appropriate graphics • Review merchandising strategies and recommend shop enhancements • Ensure markdowns are taken on schedule, signed, and easy to shop • Maintain regular dialogue with management regarding store recaps, floor maps, and pictures • Discuss store-visit issues, staff productivity, business opportunities, competitive feedback, outpost opportunities, shop locations, and lost real estate with retailers • Communicate with sales teams and retail partners regarding stock issues and opportunities, best or slow sellers, and sizing opportunities • Develop business-driving strategies through sales contests and creative merchandising • Compare PEI trends with competitors • Ensure markdown schedules, staffing, and floor space remain competitive • Conduct seasonal or as-needed store seminars on brand marketing, product knowledge, merchandising strategies, and selling skills • Review business plans, expectations, and weekly/monthly numbers with store management or sales specialists • Communicate PEI special events or contests within the individual territory

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree • 1–2 years of previous Retail/Merchandise Coordinator or visual merchandising experience • Apparel or department store experience is a plus • Good understanding of retail math • Ability to read and analyze business reports and purchase orders • Ability to multitask and maintain strong organizational skills • Ability to balance servicing multiple brands across various retailers • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and manage tasks appropriately • Home Internet access and a smartphone • Own transportation to travel to stores
