• Report to the Regional Business Director • Supervise and lead 5–8 Senior Oncology Account Specialists • Drive sales performance for the oncology business portfolio and assess area stakeholders and market trends • Provide regular in-field and virtual coaching and observation of Field Sales Representatives • Maintain frequent customer contact and partner with marketing and channel colleagues • Ensure compliant execution, policy understanding, and a culture of integrity • Oversee hiring, live and virtual coaching, representative development, performance management, and priority-account assignments • Develop and implement area strategic plans and business plans • Manage area-level budgets in alignment with Regional Business Director expectations • Plan, organize, and monitor area and regional business performance • Optimize promotional-material utilization and contribute to annual marketing plans • Conduct proactive data analysis to identify market trends • Identify and motivate key-account development opportunities affecting regional and national business • Build relationships with customers, KOLs, management teams, channel partners, and cross-functional stakeholders • Develop external advocates and contribute to advocacy and community engagement • Coach representatives on cross-functional engagement and use of AI and digital tools • Plan and conduct plan-of-action and partner meetings • Collaborate in integrated account teams and partner with Marketing during the Operating Plan process • Lead cross-functional partnerships to support patient services and customer needs • Maintain product, portfolio, disease-state, and market knowledge • Operate digital and virtual tools and leverage analytics such as 360-degree customer insights • Manage virtual engagement, face-to-face and virtual time allocation, and follow-ups • Coach representatives on selling skills, product knowledge, capabilities, and business plans • Uphold area standards, compliance policies, and integrity commitments • Apply situational leadership and interactive coaching methods • Build team culture, engagement, and morale • Promote feedback and continuous improvement • Set team goals and hold team members accountable for performance, growth, technical knowledge, communication, compliance, and technology use • Extensive travel and field work with representatives and customers
• Bachelor's Degree required • 6+ years pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical marketing/sales experience • Experience working with key thought leaders or high influence customers in large group practices, hospitals, or managed care organizations preferred • Skilled with data-driven resource management to ensure proper channel deployment • Live within a commutable distance to territory • This position will require travel as needed to develop internal and external relationships • Strong communication skills including the ability to think and communicate with the audience’s need first • Valid US driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards • Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify you from being hired • Cross-functional collaboration mindset to facilitate ‘One Pfizer’ commitment to customer • Model/Leader of excellence with change, agility, and adaptability • Ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact • Oncology Sales Enablement Manager, Area Business Manager Experience and Prostate Cancer Therapeutic Experience strongly preferred • 2+ years Commercial Oncology experience • MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred • Advanced communication skills for facilitation, customer engagement, team management, and remote collaboration and coaching • Demonstrated ability both to think strategically and to execute flawlessly to deliver results • Strong track record of collaborative and motivational leadership and internal stakeholder management skills • Experience collaborating with External Partners • Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer • Permanent work authorization in the United States required; U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
