📋 Description

• Report to the Regional Business Director • Supervise and lead 9–12 representatives within the assigned area • Own sales performance for the vaccines portfolio • Assess key stakeholders and future trends in the business marketplace • Develop in-depth sales business plans for the local healthcare ecosystem • Hire, coach, develop, and manage representatives • Establish team goals, enforce performance standards, and manage underperformance • Build an engaged team culture focused on morale and continuous improvement • Apply live, virtual, and hybrid coaching to strengthen representative capabilities • Provide development opportunities supporting career growth • Develop and implement strategic area business plans aligned with national and regional priorities • Manage area-level budgets and resource deployment • Analyze data to identify market trends and anticipate shifts • Monitor promotional-material utilization and field execution • Collaborate with Marketing during the Op Plan process • Build relationships with customers, KOLs, IDNs, large group practices, retail stores, grantees, FQHCs, DoD, and VA • Lead credible, science-forward conversations across the vaccines portfolio • Identify key account development opportunities • Connect healthcare service providers with channel and headquarters partners • Coach representatives on digital tools, cross-functional engagement, and Consultative Account-Based Portfolio Selling • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and Pfizer policy requirements • Maintain compliance knowledge and escalate issues promptly • Model integrity in customer and internal interactions • Operate digital and virtual tools and platforms • Apply data-driven resource management across a dual-portfolio area • Use sales data and reporting software to adjust strategy and adapt to Pfizer’s technology model

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required • 6+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical marketing/sales experience • At least 3–5 years in a demonstrated leadership role across peer and customer groups • Experience engaging key thought leaders or high-influence customers in large group practices, hospitals, or managed care organizations preferred • Valid U.S. driver’s license with driving record in compliance with company standards • Any DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation within the past 7 years is disqualifying • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including influencing and collaborating with peers, developing and coaching others, and creating meaningful business impact • MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred • 5+ years of people management experience preferred • Vaccines experience and expertise strongly preferred • Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer • Permanent work authorization in the United States required • U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
