📋 Description

• Plan and execute medical strategy and engagement for assigned customers in the Southwest territory (AZ, UT, NV, NM) • Provide malignant hematology therapeutic-area and Pfizer product expertise to internal and external stakeholders • Serve as a resource for medical information and customer insights • Deliver approved medical content and respond to unsolicited HCP medical requests compliantly • Field inbound HCP queries through established triage processes • Partner with Oncology R&D and Global Product Development to identify clinical-trial sites, including sites serving under-represented populations • Provide medical support throughout the Investigator Sponsored Research process • Cultivate malignant hematology expertise through congress data and disease-state literature • Provide asset leadership and communicate study design, methodology, data analysis, and interpretation • Lead the territory and communicate with local Patient Advocacy Groups • Deliver insights on patient organization structures, capabilities, and population needs • Serve on medical, therapeutic-area, and asset cross-functional committees • Represent Pfizer Medical Affairs with clinical and professional associations and societies • Mentor onboarding partners, advisory-board participants, and study leads • Participate in special projects as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a health science required • PharmD/PhD with 5+ years of experience, MBA/MSc with 7+ years of experience, or BA/BSc with 8+ years of experience • Subject matter expertise in malignant hematology recognized across internal and external stakeholders • Currently reside in Arizona, Utah, Nevada, or New Mexico, preferably in Phoenix/Scottsdale • Ability to manage significant project volume in a remote environment and prioritize effectively • Ability to work within a matrixed, multidisciplinary team • Ability to lead and manage change in an evolving healthcare environment • Change agility and adaptability to new therapeutic areas, territories, projects, and organizational changes • Ability to problem-solve and network enterprise-wide • Ability to rapidly adopt and use digital technology and record medical interactions • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to operate a Pfizer company car and regularly fly on airplanes • Proximity to an airline hub city • Flexibility to travel 60–80% of the time • Ability to work weekends when needed for advisory boards, regional meetings, and congresses • Permanent U.S. work authorization; candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. by any employer • U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future • PharmD, PhD, or equivalent terminal doctoral degree highly preferred • Deep expertise and/or clinical experience in malignant hematology preferred • Established territory HCP network preferred • Familiarity with Pfizer/customer interaction SOPs, rules, and regulations preferred • Previous Field Medical experience preferred • Clinical and technical skills • Leadership, collaboration, mentoring, coaching, and conflict-management capabilities
