📋 Description

• Provide therapeutic area and product expertise for a designated Oncology therapeutic • Educate integrated customers, including National Payers, Regional Payers, and Specialty Pharmacy Providers, on the clinical and economic impact of Pfizer Oncology medicines and products • Plan and execute Oncology Medical strategy and engagement for assigned customers within a territory • Contribute to Medical content strategy development and execute aligned Field Medical tactics • Coordinate communication among headquarters Medical colleagues, Medical Information, and Pfizer Field Medical colleagues • Deliver live and virtual presentations, written communications, and telephone or virtual conversations • Develop and execute customer-specific projects, collaborations, strategic medical partnerships, and non-interventional studies • Optimize patient-centric Medical communications and deliverables using Health Literacy and cultural awareness principles • Respond to medical questions regarding Pfizer products and provide approved medical content • Facilitate communication between regional and national Healthcare Professionals and headquarters Medical Affairs colleagues • Facilitate Pfizer-sponsored collaborative research and site-initiated research activities • Provide objective, scientifically sound medical information using pharmacoeconomic models, outcomes tools, educational programs, HOPEs, non-interventional studies, and collaborations • Develop and implement Real World Evidence-based outcomes tools to improve patient care, close quality gaps, and address population health management • Serve as Oncology Medical lead for assigned customers and develop and execute a Medical account plan • Engage Quality Improvement Organizations, Advocacy Groups, Coalitions, and medical/healthcare associations • Support HIT initiatives, analyze clinical healthcare information-system workflows, and facilitate care processes • Facilitate clinical content development and develop innovative HIT tools and resources • Provide expertise on e-data collection and planning for Oncology Field Medical colleagues • Identify, design, and deploy HIT solutions aligned with Pfizer Oncology Medical goals • Support HIT/clinical informatics resources for new product and indication launches • Create internal and external tools, resources, and educational materials for Field Medical, Outcomes & Analytics • Represent Pfizer Oncology Medical Affairs leadership with clinical/professional associations and societies • Support collaborative projects and publications • Review literature, monitor the competitive landscape, network with experts, and attend assigned conferences • Collaborate with Pfizer colleagues and HEOR teams on customer outcomes and data-analysis needs • Serve as a coordinated Pfizer point of contact for selected high-priority U.S. sites to support enrollment and site partnerships • Manage a significant volume of field-based projects, prioritize work, implement initiatives, and maintain internal training requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health science • 10+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree; 8+ years with a master’s degree; 7+ years with a terminal degree • Experience in clinical, formulary, and/or management functions • Experience in managed care, the pharmaceutical industry, and/or quality improvement • Data analytics and/or HEOR experience with strong methodological skills in study design, data analysis, and interpretation • Significant experience interacting with payers and other organized customers • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage conflict constructively • Diverse leadership experience, including influencing and collaborating with peers, developing and coaching others, and overseeing colleagues’ work • Strong analytic skills • Ability to communicate substantial scientific information clearly and concisely • Ability to organize, prioritize multiple demands, and use situational leadership skills • Ability to travel, including overnight travel • Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to operate a Pfizer company car • Ability to regularly fly on airplanes • Must be located within a 2-hour drive of a major airport • Flexibility to potentially travel 40–50% of the time • Maintain current internal training requirements • Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer • Permanent work authorization in the United States required • U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
