📋 Description

• Design, build, and deploy canvas and model-driven Power Apps using VA/VHA data • Architect Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, calculated/rollup columns, and security roles • Connect applications to Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server/Azure SQL, CDW, and external data sources • Build accessible screens, forms, views, reusable components, component libraries, and PCF controls • Apply Power Platform ALM, governance, environment strategy, deployment pipelines, and source control • Optimize application performance and implement security and DLP policies • Build and maintain Power Automate cloud flows for data movement, approvals, notifications, and process hand-offs • Develop scheduled, event-triggered, instant, and desktop RPA flows with error handling, retries, logging, monitoring, and alerting • Design and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models against CDW and VA data sources • Develop star-schema models, DAX measures, calculated columns, Power Query transformations, RLS, gateways, refresh schedules, and deployment pipelines • Build certified reusable datasets and shared semantic models • Design and build ETL/ELT ingestion and transformation pipelines into Dataverse, Azure SQL, and Power BI semantic models • Develop and maintain Power Platform dataflows, Azure Data Factory, and/or SSIS pipelines • Design dimensional and normalized data models and implement data validation, reconciliation, quality checks, and pipeline monitoring • Work directly with VA/VHA clinical, operational, financial, and administrative data sources and the Corporate Data Warehouse • Enable analysts and engineers to use VA data assets through working solutions and reference material • Elicit requirements, map current- and future-state processes, and translate business needs into data models, applications, flows, and reports • Facilitate working sessions, demos, and reviews with stakeholders and subject matter experts • Document solution logic, data dictionaries, source-to-target mappings, data lineage, ownership, stewardship, usage constraints, and compliance • Contribute reusable patterns, templates, best practices, delivery tooling, efficiency, and governance improvements • Support Agile or hybrid delivery aligned with sprint-based, iterative work

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field • 4–6 years building production solutions with Microsoft Power Platform across Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI • Power Apps development experience including Dataverse modeling, screen/form design, Power Fx, and connections to Dataverse, SharePoint, and SQL-based sources • Power Automate development experience including cloud flows, connectors, expressions, and error handling • Power BI development experience including data modeling, DAX, Power Query (M), refresh, and report/dashboard delivery • Hands-on data engineering experience building ETL/ELT or data pipelines and modeling structured and semi-structured data • Strong understanding of relational databases and proficiency in SQL • Working knowledge of Power Platform data connectivity and governed data assets • Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, data quality practices, and solution documentation • Experience supporting business process engineering, process mapping, as-is/to-be workflows, and requirements elicitation • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and collaborate within cross-functional teams • Authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship • Ability to obtain a Public Trust • Preferred: Master's degree, advanced Power Platform expertise, ALM at scale, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Synapse, Azure SQL, relevant certifications, VA/VHA or federal healthcare experience, CDW experience, BPMN or Lean/Six Sigma, data cataloging, and Agile delivery experience
