📋 Description

• Support the product lead and product managers with the legacy platform modernization assessment across Requirements and Solutioning workstreams • Perform current-state analysis of the legacy platform, including its servicer portal, databases, reporting services, external servicer integrations, and manual operational processes • Conduct stakeholder interviews and help facilitate value stream sessions and requirements workshops with federal client stakeholders, IT teams, and subject matter experts • Document current-state business processes and create process maps, customer journey maps, UI mockups/wireframes, and future-state process flows • Elicit and document functional and non-functional requirements for loan servicing capabilities • Create epics, features, user stories, business rules, data mappings, and report and communication definitions in Jira and Confluence • Complete capability assessment checklists covering applications, tools, adjacent processes, integrations, services, risks, and constraints • Build integration and dependency maps and analyze application and business-domain data requirements from source to screen • Identify requirements gaps, duplicate functionality, outdated requirements, and hidden business rules • Support legacy function disposition analysis, including migrate, retire, automate, consolidate, defer, or replace options • Support evaluation of modernization and decommissioning alternatives, sequencing options, trade-offs, and implementation options • Use approved AI-assisted tools for discovery, analysis, documentation, reverse-engineering requirements, and prototyping • Identify automation and process improvement opportunities and capture workforce considerations • Create client deliverables such as requirements packages, assessment findings, and presentation materials • Maintain positive relationships with the client and collaborate effectively with the delivery team

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience • An additional 2 years of experience with an Associate's Degree • An additional 4 years of experience with a high school diploma • Experience with requirements elicitation and documentation, including user stories, business rules, and non-functional requirements • Experience with current-state analysis, process mapping, and gap analysis • Excellent verbal and written communications skills • Strong attention to detail with proven analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to shift focus between high-priority tasks as required • Demonstrated leadership in the face of ambiguity • Ability to navigate challenges and consistently complete work • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance • Preferred: Experience supporting federal loan servicing or benefits-delivery applications and legacy system modernization or migration efforts • Preferred: Existing Public Trust clearance at a federal agency • Preferred: In-depth knowledge of the mortgage industry, particularly loan servicing, loss mitigation, default, foreclosure, and claims processes • Preferred: Familiarity with MISMO data standards and servicer reporting • Preferred: Experience implementing Salesforce and/or AWS solutions for the federal government • Preferred: Experience using AI-assisted tools for analysis, requirements, or documentation • Preferred: Experience using JIRA and Confluence
