📋 Description

• Design, develop and maintain scalable, reliable backend services and systems • Work with engineers, product managers and designers to turn business requirements into shippable features • Contribute to technical design discussions involving architecture, performance and scalability • Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code • Build and improve RESTful APIs and integrations • Own features from initial design through deployment and ongoing improvement • Participate in code reviews, share knowledge and support other engineers • Improve systems, development processes and engineering standards • Evaluate and introduce emerging technologies where they add value

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience • Strong proficiency in Java • Object-oriented software design • Experience designing, building and maintaining backend services in a production environment • Experience with RESTful APIs • Good understanding of JavaScript and modern web technologies • Understanding of scalable, distributed systems and technical trade-offs • Knowledge of code quality, testing and maintainability • GraphQL experience is a bonus • Collaborative, proactive and growth-oriented approach
