📋 Description

• Manage premium audit operations through team leads and professional individual contributors • Translate business segment strategy into functional audit plans and guide day-to-day execution • Oversee internal audit processes and vendor relationships, ensuring service level agreements are met • Monitor audit completion rates, quality metrics, and customer satisfaction scores • Ensure compliance with state and bureau audit requirements across mail-in, phone, virtual, and physical audits • Partner with Analytics to analyze audit results and identify profitability trends • Develop and execute initiatives to improve audit efficiency and customer experience • Implement long-term audit strategies with Senior Management • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations Performance teams to optimize workflows and automation • Build and maintain audit procedures, guidelines, and best-practices documentation • Identify process-streamlining and cost-reduction opportunities while maintaining quality • Support new audit technologies and system enhancements • Provide hands-on leadership, guidance, one-on-ones, and performance coaching • Establish expectations and performance measurements for direct reports • Conduct team calibrations and quality reviews • Support recruitment and onboarding • Create development plans for team leads and individual contributors • Serve as audit subject matter expert on cross-functional initiatives • Collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, Business Development, Customer Service, Billing, Compliance, and Legal teams • Communicate audit insights and recommendations to senior leadership • Handle complex audit disputes and customer escalations • Make decisions on audit adjustments and settlements within authority limits • Coordinate on contested audit matters and ensure timely resolution of complaints

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred • 5+ years of Workers' Compensation Premium Audit experience required • 6+ years of overall commercial insurance experience required • 3+ years of management or supervisory experience required • Experience managing both internal teams and external vendor relationships preferred • Must live and work in the United States (territories excluded) • Access to reliable, high-speed internet
