📋 Description

• Design succession planning, talent review, performance management, talent acquisition, and retention strategies • Design and implement employee development programs, employee relations, retention strategies, and talent-related HR policies and procedures • Manage one content creator/trainer and influence HR professionals for talent alignment • Build relationships with business, functional, and HR leaders regionally and globally • Serve as strategic counsel and point person for talent management • Assess talent, craft development plans, and follow through on outcomes • Consult on organizational design, work structure, job design, workforce forecasting, interdependencies, and role clarity • Identify organizational needs and develop strategies to address them • Identify development opportunities, including stretch assignments • Lead performance management and succession planning processes • Source, evaluate, and select talent with business leadership and HR • Lead talent assessment, succession planning reviews, and performance calibration across SBUs • Lead, develop, and track Personal Development Plans and Individual Development Plans • Own and implement talent management processes • Partner with talent acquisition on workforce planning, capability, onboarding, and talent strategy • Design, develop, and implement talent management programs and processes • Assess and enhance learning and development tools and source learning based on gaps • Oversee talent-related education and training for management and HR • Utilize SABA/Galaxy performance management data to support succession planning, talent pools, talent reviews, and performance management • Cascade SABA/Galaxy information and promotions • Facilitate, integrate, and coordinate talent management initiatives, including project planning, resourcing, timing, and communications • Participate in annual business and budget reviews and complete and monitor the departmental budget • Develop, maintain, and improve Talent Management and Recruitment policies and procedures • Adhere to NSG/Pilkington Standards of Business Conduct and Values and Principles • Perform other duties assigned by the manager

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in human resources, organizational leadership, business management or a combination of education and work experience • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in HR and managing HR team • Proven familiarity with performance management tools and relevant software • Knowledge of labor regulations/legislations • Good knowledge of problem-solving quality tools • Proven/demonstrated analytical and strong communication skills • Located within the Eastern Time Zone • Ability to travel to the Toledo area to partner with key stakeholders and team • May require out of state and overnight travel (~20% annually)
