📋 Description

• Identify, cultivate, and secure corporate partners at the local and national level for Energy for Life Walks and other mission programs • Build and manage a sponsorship pipeline aligned with revenue goals • Develop customized sponsorship proposals and manage commitments, benefits, and deliverables • Maintain relationships with corporate executives to ensure long-term partnerships • Recruit and manage executive leadership teams in key markets • Provide strategic guidance, tools, and coaching to executive leadership teams • Support executive leadership teams in achieving sponsorship benchmarks and recruiting volunteers • Serve as primary liaison between executive leadership teams and UMDF staff • Recruit and cultivate corporate fundraising teams for Energy for Life events • Coach teams and provide resources and updates to meet or exceed fundraising goals • Recognize and steward high-impact team captains and sponsors • Partner with marketing/communications on recruitment and fundraising toolkits • Lead assigned Energy for Life Walks and other fundraising events • Secure sponsors, recruit teams, and engage top fundraisers • Ensure sponsor presence and activation on event day • Serve as on-site lead for event execution, sponsor activations, and leadership recognition • Collaborate with Development Manager I on volunteers, community fundraising, and event logistics • Create and manage event budgets • Track sponsorship, team, and event performance against benchmarks • Provide regular reports on corporate revenue, executive leadership engagement, and team performance

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in corporate fundraising, sponsorship development, or nonprofit special events • Proven track record of securing and stewarding corporate partners • Experience recruiting, engaging, and managing executive leaders/volunteers • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills • Excellent organizational and project management skills with attention to detail • Proficiency with fundraising platforms (e.g., DonorDrive), Salesforce CRM, and Microsoft Office Suite • Willingness to travel approximately 25-30% • Willingness to work occasional nights and weekends • Ability to analyze complex situations, anticipate trends, and formulate effective plans • Ability to meet commitments, handle change well, and remain focused under pressure • Ability to develop and nurture positive, long-term relationships with key stakeholders • Understanding of and ability to engage meaningfully with people from diverse backgrounds • Ability to persuade and influence others to reach mutually beneficial agreements • Ability to organize, manage, and execute tasks efficiently • Ability to deliver measurable outcomes • Effective communication across writing, speaking, and presenting • Honesty, fairness, accountability, and adherence to ethical standards
