📋 Description

• Meet directly with clients after handoff to gather and clarify requirements for Acumatica customizations • Translate business requirements into clear, buildable technical designs and specifications • Build customizations, extensions, and integrations • Direct, oversee, and review developers' work on customization projects • Mentor developers on code quality and client communication • Use Claude and GitHub Copilot to write specifications, generate and review code, and modernize customizations • Partner with Solutions Architecture and Consulting teams on larger engagements • Serve as the technical point of contact for client customization conversations • Own the technical solutioning conversation from requirements through delivery • Report to the EVP of Technology & Business Innovation

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of hands-on Acumatica development experience, including C#, SQL Server, APIs, and third-party integrations • Acumatica certification, or a background in Acumatica implementation consulting with strong technical depth • Direct experience gathering and clarifying requirements from business stakeholders • Track record of pushing back on client requests when a simpler or better solution exists • Experience mentoring, directing, or reviewing the work of other developers • Genuine fluency with AI coding and productivity tools • Working understanding of order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and inventory management • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Nice to have: experience with Dynamics, NetSuite, Sage, or another mid-market ERP platform • Nice to have: exposure to distribution, manufacturing, construction, or field service operations • Nice to have: former Acumatica end-user experience transitioned into consulting or development
