📋 Description

• Serve as a technical point of contact for electric utility customers • Translate transmission planning and operational challenges into well-scoped LineVision solutions • Lead scoping studies and profiling analyses • Build and present technical deliverables for pre-sales engagements from discovery through business case development • Represent LineVision at IEEE, CIGRE, and other industry forums • Contribute to white papers and technical presentations • Bring structured customer feedback to Product and Engineering teams • Complete onboarding on LineVision’s platform, sensor technology, and Dynamic Line Rating methodology • Shadow and support pre-sales meetings, then independently build scoping deliverables • Analyze data from prior customer deployments • Own technical workstreams on assigned pre-sales opportunities from scoping through handoff • Lead technical deep dives and network-level scope review meetings with utility engineering teams • Operate as an independent technical lead on mid-sized customer opportunities • Help improve scoping tools, templates, and processes • Collaborate with Sales, Client Success, and Product teams • Report to the Senior Solutions Engineering Manager

🎯 Requirements

• Background in electrical engineering, power systems, or utility transmission operations • Experience translating technical analysis into business-relevant recommendations for utility stakeholders • Strong communication and presentation skills • Proficiency in data analysis • Direct experience in transmission planning, operations, or grid optimization at a utility or consulting firm (best candidate distinction) • Demonstrated ability to produce external technical content, such as white papers, conference presentations, or IEEE/CIGRE contributions (best candidate distinction) • Track record of managing multiple customer engagements simultaneously with a high degree of autonomy • Familiarity with Dynamic Line Ratings or grid-enhancing technologies • Ability to travel to customer sites approximately 25%
