• Lead cross-discipline teams across one or more software projects • Act as the central point of contact between clients, studio leadership, project teams, and stakeholders • Own estimation, budgeting, planning, prioritization, and scheduling from concept through release and live operations • Track project schedules and budgets against contractual commitments • Identify critical-path risks and issues and implement mitigation plans • Drive and improve the project development pipeline and workflow • Provide project vision, goals, and objectives to teams and stakeholders • Facilitate communication and coordination among internal and external resources • Apply analytics, ROI-informed recommendations, contract review and management, and cost analysis • Work with project teams and QA to manage bug assignment, prioritization, and resolution progress • Provide status reports and communicate progress and risks to studio leadership • Complete project retrospectives/post mortems • Document, advocate for, refine, and optimize department processes • Provide Producer mentorship and training
• At least 5 years of experience in a software development Producer and/or Project Manager role • Previous experience with video game development, including completing five development cycles (Pre-production, Production, Post Production, Live support) and shipping at least three titles • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Exceptional project management practices and software expertise • Ability to provide critical feedback against project goals and strategies • Ability to resolve conflict on the team and between the team and client • Ability to work in a stressful, fast-paced, ever-changing development environment • Ability to work with and manage a team in a hybrid work environment • Deep understanding of the development process across all discipline areas • Financial and business acumen • Ability to motivate very large and/or multiple teams • Expert use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Jira, and Confluence, including generating reports and charts • Professional experience with Unity, Unreal, or other game engines • Strong interest in the gaming industry and high-quality interactive experiences • PMI PMP Certification (nice to have) • Certificate of completion of Game Development or any University degree, or equivalent practical experience (nice to have)
