📋 Description

• Coordinate all appointments with providers for patients, referring physicians, and facilities across multiple states • Communicate insurance coverage, financial responsibilities, and appointment date/time information to patients and staff • Provide warm, friendly, and excellent customer service to patients, referral sources, and staff • Schedule, reschedule, and cancel initial and subsequent appointments according to scheduling protocols and tools • Provide accurate information about services to physicians and callers • Respond promptly to patient, provider, and team member requests • Maintain and update patient information and knowledge of insurance protocols • Determine insurance benefits using eligibility systems, online websites, and phone calls • Explain benefits and financial obligations to patients and guarantors • Handle billing inquiries, collect out-of-pocket payments, and process payments accurately • Communicate insurance issues and work with billing teams to correct coverage problems • Maintain insurance panels • Obtain approval for schedule changes or cancellations as appropriate • Meet goals and objectives assigned by management • Escalate problems to management • Complete other duties based on patient needs • Adhere to quality and productivity standards

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with insurance eligibility • Bilingual Spanish speaking required • Attention to detail required • Strong organizational skills • Ability to multitask and prioritize • Ability to work well in a team-driven environment • Monday–Friday availability, 9:00am–5:00pm EST
