📋 Description

• Oversee and manage construction of one large and/or multiple smaller mechanical or multidisciplinary projects • Manage projects within established construction budgets to ensure customer satisfaction and installation quality • Manage material and labor handling for timely and smooth-running projects • Assist in training Project Supervisors, Project Foremen, and Technicians • Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking reports • Create, maintain, and follow construction schedules; assign personnel to complete projects on schedule and within budget • Advise on local laws concerning landfills, carting companies, mechanical codes, and permitting • Ensure safety practices are followed and work is performed safely and productively • Manage multiple energy efficiency projects concurrently • Prepare and deliver performance evaluations; discipline, train, and counsel assigned personnel when appropriate • Maintain communications with clients, PowerSecure executives, subcontractors, permitting/code enforcement agents, engineers, architects, and employees across trades • Manage subcontractors according to contractual requirements, internally and onsite • Maintain clean and safe work sites, including recycling and waste disposal according to local ordinances • Inspect project sites before installation to identify specialized equipment requirements • Verify work correctness and quality against or beyond customer expectations • Monitor, track, and document materials used and remaining • Maintain accurate documentation and timely deliverables • Procure storage facilities for project materials and equipment • Create and maintain project risk plans • Oversee project quality assurance requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of a High school diploma or GED is required • 7+ years of managing government contracts • Minimum of 6 years of project management experience in commercial or industrial construction • Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, etc.) • OSHA 30 certification/training required; arrangements will be made to obtain the required training if needed • PMP certification preferred • Ability to climb ladders, kneel, reach, balance, lift up to 40 pounds regularly, work overhead, stand for extended periods, and negotiate uneven terrain • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various climates, including conditioned and unconditioned spaces
